What did homes sell for in København?
Home sale prices in Denmark, from Statistics Denmark. This source is answered live, so the page shows how to ask, not a number.
An official average or median published by a statistics office or regulator, not individual sales.
ProofPrice reads Statistics Denmark when you ask, so the answer is always the latest published. It comes with its period, its source and its licence; a range built from records is given only when at least 5 records sit behind it.

Where this comes from
- Source
- Sales of real property: average price per property and number of sales (Statistics Denmark table EJEN77), published by Statistics Denmark (Danmarks Statistik)
- Licence
- Statistics Denmark: "All statistics on Statistikbanken.dk and the website dst.dk can be used free of charge commercially as well as non-commercially. It is, however, required to indicate the source. This corresponds to the license known as Creative Commons, CC 4.0 BY"
- Attribution
- Source: Statistics Denmark (Danmarks Statistik), StatBank table EJEN77 "Sales of real property" (https://api.statbank.dk/v1/tableinfo/EJEN77?lang=en), used under the terms at https://www.dst.dk/en/presse/kildeangivelse (CC BY 4.0). Prices are passed on as published; the changes between periods are own calculations by ProofPrice.
- How fresh the source is
- Quarterly, published about three months after the quarter ends (the latest quarter is marked preliminary; Statistics Denmark's figures become final 13 months after the quarter). Each answer states its quarter and whether it is preliminary
- Limits
- An average price per property for the properties sold in a quarter (land and new-builds included), not a valuation or a quote for one home: it moves with the mix of properties sold. Published by province (landsdel) and region only, so a town is answered with the province it lies in; there is no median and no price per square metre. Statistics Denmark says preliminary average prices are underestimated, because they are not corrected for the bias in the registration pattern; figures become final 13 months after the quarter. Flats are owner-occupied flats (ejerlejligheder). Statistics Denmark gives no figure for a province and category with too few sales.
- Rule
- A figure built from records is shown only when at least 5 records sit behind it; official statistics are shown as such, with their reference period. See how we earn trust and the method.
