What is the typical rent for homes in Dublin?

Rents paid in Ireland, from Residential Tenancies Board. This source is answered live, so the page shows how to ask, not a number.

An official average or median published by a statistics office or regulator, not individual sales.

ProofPrice reads Residential Tenancies Board when you ask, so the answer is always the latest published. It comes with its period, its source and its licence; a range built from records is given only when at least 5 records sit behind it.

Ask for it: /api/v1/rent?country=IE&town=Dublin

How fresh the source is
Quarterly; a quarter is published about five months after it ends
Limits
A published average per quarter, not a list of rents: no range and no sample size. It is the actual average of registered rents (not the standardised, mix-adjusted RTB Rent Index), so it moves with the mix of homes let. Small areas are left blank by the publisher in some quarters, then we use the latest quarter that has a figure. Registered rents only: asking rents are not included.
Rule
A figure built from records is shown only when at least 5 records sit behind it; official statistics are shown as such, with their reference period. See how we earn trust and the method.
