What is the typical rent for homes in Oslo (2 rooms)?

Rents paid in Norway, from Statistics Norway. This source is answered live, so the page shows how to ask, not a number.

An official average or median published by a statistics office or regulator, not individual sales.

ProofPrice reads Statistics Norway when you ask, so the answer is always the latest published. It comes with its period, its source and its licence; a range built from records is given only when at least 5 records sit behind it.

Ask for it: /api/v1/rent?country=NO&town=Oslo&rooms=2

How fresh the source is
Annual; the 2025 survey was published on 22 December 2025
Limits
A survey average per price zone and number of rooms, not a list of rents: no range and no sample size. Each year uses a fresh sample, so year-on-year changes are not strictly comparable. Cells with too few or unreliable observations are blank. 'Rooms' counts living rooms and bedrooms (not kitchen or bath), so it is not the same as bedrooms.
Rule
A figure built from records is shown only when at least 5 records sit behind it; official statistics are shown as such, with their reference period. See how we earn trust and the method.
