What do the official commercial property and land sales say for land in Singapore?
Commercial property and land sales in Singapore, from Urban Redevelopment Authority. This source is answered live, so the page shows how to ask, not a number.
Prices recorded in official records of completed sales. Asking prices are never used.
ProofPrice reads Urban Redevelopment Authority when you ask, so the answer is always the latest published. It comes with its period, its source and its licence; a range built from records is given only when at least 5 records sit behind it.
Ask for it: /api/v1/commercial-property?country=SG&property_type=land
Where this comes from
- Source
- Government Land Sales: sale of state land by tender (results of awarded tenders), published by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), published on data.gov.sg
- Licence
- Singapore Open Data Licence v1.0 (worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free use of the datasets, commercially or non-commercially, with attribution)
- Attribution
- Contains information from Government Land Sales - Sale of State Land by Tender accessed from data.gov.sg, made available under the Singapore Open Data Licence version 1.0 (https://data.gov.sg/open-data-licence).
- How fresh the source is
- A historic file: awards from 1992 to mid-2016 only, last updated by the publisher on 6 June 2024. Every answer states its period
- Limits
- Winning tender prices for state-owned development sites (not homes and not private land sales), with very different sizes and permitted developments, so wide ranges are normal. The price is per m² of gross floor area (GFA) that the site allows, the way Singapore quotes land prices, not per m² of ground. Awards stop in mid-2016. The winning tenderer is never shown. Aggregates only: at least 5 sites per answer.
- Rule
- A figure built from records is shown only when at least 5 records sit behind it; official statistics are shown as such, with their reference period. See how we earn trust and the method.
