What is paid for stroke in Singapore?

Doctor and hospital prices in Singapore, from Ministry of Health. This source is answered live, so the page shows how to ask, not a number.

An official average or median published by a statistics office or regulator, not individual sales.

ProofPrice reads Ministry of Health when you ask, so the answer is always the latest published. It comes with its period, its source and its licence; a range built from records is given only when at least 5 records sit behind it.

Ask for it: /api/v1/medical?country=SG&service=stroke

Where this comes from

Source
Hospital bill sizes by medical condition (DRG) and ward type (Ministry of Health, Singapore), published by Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore
Licence
Singapore Open Data Licence v1.0; MOH's terms of use put the datasets published on moh.gov.sg under it. Commercial use is allowed with attribution.
Attribution
Source: Ministry of Health, Singapore, Hospital bill sizes (fee benchmarks, medical conditions by DRG), data for 1 Jan - 31 Dec 2023. Contains information from MOH accessed on the date of the answer, made available under the Singapore Open Data Licence version 1.0 (https://data.gov.sg/open-data-licence).
How fresh the source is
Annual benchmark file (data year 2023, file last updated 15 May 2026); every answer states its data year
Limits
Singapore Citizens only, calendar year 2023, selected medical conditions only (not surgery). Total bills before insurance and MediSave, so not what the patient finally paid out of pocket. MOH publishes percentiles only: no number of cases is given (cells with under 10 cases are hidden), so the sample size is unknown. Not a quote: individual bills depend on length of stay and complications.
Rule
A figure built from records is shown only when at least 5 records sit behind it; official statistics are shown as such, with their reference period. See how we earn trust and the method.
