What do the official price level say for housing in Singapore?
Price level in Singapore, from World Bank. This source is answered live, so the page shows how to ask, not a number.
An official average or median published by a statistics office or regulator, not individual sales.
ProofPrice reads World Bank when you ask, so the answer is always the latest published. It comes with its period, its source and its licence; a range built from records is given only when at least 5 records sit behind it.
Ask for it: /api/v1/price-levels?country=SG&spend=housing

- How fresh the source is
- Benchmark year 2021 (published 2024); the ICP runs a new round about every three years, every answer states its year
- Limits
- A price LEVEL INDEX for a whole economy in one benchmark year (2021) from an international price survey: not a shop price, not a receipt and not what any household paid. There is no range, no count of prices behind a figure and no history. It compares economies; it does not say what a given product costs. Small territories are left out; Russia is published under the World Bank code RUT. 2021 prices predate recent inflation.
- Rule
- A figure built from records is shown only when at least 5 records sit behind it; official statistics are shown as such, with their reference period. See how we earn trust and the method.
